An art journey in the Fabre Museum

The Fabre Museum is one of the largest museums in France and one of the main attractions of the city of Montpellier, hosting collections of Flemish, Dutch, Italian, French and Spanish painters of great European schools, from the 16th to the 18th century. More than 9000 square meters of beautiful works of art, including paintings, sculptures, engravings and drawings.

The Fabre Museum combines classical and contemporary architecture in a mansion built in the 19th century. The Museum is a tribute to François Xavier Fabre who, in 1825, donated his art collections to the city.
