Nice La Belle

Welcome to the capital of France’s Alpes-Maritimes! Known by many as “Nice, The Beautiful”, this city stands out for its natural beauty and mediterranean climate.

Nice La Belle's Suggestions

In the heart of the French Riviera

This is the fifth major city in France, whose location makes it even more charming: between the mediterranean sea and the French Alps. Nice is a typically European city, with the bonus of being bathed by the clear blue waters of the Cote d’Azur - also known as the “French Riviera”.
An entire city at your feet

An entire city at your feet

Get to know a typical French provincial town. As the fifth largest city in France, Nice stays lively and busy all year round. Explore the old city center by foot: there are large pedestrian areas boasting a variety of hotels, shops, cafés and great restaurants.

Don’t miss, of course, beautiful historical monuments such as the Notre- Dame-de- Cimiez Monastry, the Russian cathedral Cathédrale Orthodoxe Russe Saint-Nicolas as well as the Nice Cathedral.

Save some room in your luggage, for Nice is also a good shopping destination, with a range of boutiques and shopping centres at your disposal. You’ll also find one of the best flower and food markets in southern Europe: the Cours Saleya.
Mediterranean Coast

Mediterranean Coast

Nice is the largest French city on the Côte d’Azur and is almost always bright and sunny, which makes any trip incredibly pleasant.

The Promenade des Anglais (“Walkway of the English”) is a famous long and wide beach-side boardwalk on Baie Des Anges (Bay of Angels), and stretches 7km along the coast that is bathed by the bright blue waters of the mediterranean sea. This is a must-do in Nice, where you’ll want to spend most of your time.

Near the Port of Nice, the Colline du Château (Castle Hill) offers a spectacular view of the coast, as well as large green areas with elegant waterfalls.
