1. What is required with International travel?

An international trip may require valid travel documents such as:

   - passport
   - visa
   - re-entry permit
   - health certificate (if required)
   - innoculation record
   - a ticket for the return journey or continuance of your trip
   - Parental authorization (recognized by a notary) in the case of a minor travelling alone

2. What is required when I check-in?

ALL ticketed passengers must present a valid identification at check-in. Children must have a parent present at check-in. Tickets must be in each passenger's name.

3. Can my child travel alone on a TAAG flight?

Yes. TAAG has two categories of service, with separate conditions and requirements, for our passengers between the ages of 5 and 16 who are traveling unaccompanied by an adult.

For children between the ages of 5 and 11, classified as Unaccompanied Minors, we have separate check-in facilities and dedicated ground staff to help on departure and arrival.

We also provide special attention for those children between the ages of 12 and 15—classified as Young Passengers.

4. Is TAAG able to accommodate someone who needs special assistance?

Special assistance is available for unaccompanied minors, the elderly, and those with disabilities. Please inform the airline ahead of time so that we can have the appropriate resources available. Additional documentation may be required in certain circumstances. Please consult the Special Assistance page for further details.

5. Do I have to pay full fare for an infant?

An infant is a child under two years of age not occupying a seat. One infant is permitted to travel with an adult passenger, when paying an infant fare (10% of an adult fare). Once children reach their second birthday, they must be seated in an approved seat and pay a child’s fare (75% of an adult’s fare).

OBS: In the event of an adult passenger travelling alone with two children (e.g., twins) an additional child’s fare (75% of an adult’s fare) is required.

6. Are taxes included in the price of my fare?

The price of the tickets includes taxes and fees which are imposed on air transportation by government authorities. Taxes and fees, which may represent a significant portion of the cost of air travel are either included in the fare or shown separately in the "TAX" box(es) of the tickets.

7. Is my ticket refundable or transferable?

There are refundable and transferable tickets, however, different rules apply to different ticket fares. Please consult the rules applicable to your ticket or reservation.

Is my ticket changeable? Yes, in most cases your ticket is changeable, but, depending on the rules applicable to your ticket, you may occur in re-issuance fees.

8. Is any type of cancellation insurance available?

No, cancellation insurance is not available.

9. How much carry-on luggage am I allowed?

All passengers are allowed 5kg of carry-on luggage.

10. Which electronic devices may I use on board?

Devices such as mobile phones, mp3 players, CD players, radios, and televisions can interfere with the aircraft navigation system, so we ask that passengers refrain from using these devices during their flight.

11. What should I do in case anything happens with my luggage?
