Every Sunday, just outside the bus terminal, both locals and tourists rush towards the Sunday Market.

A MARKET FOR HAGGLING

Because this is a traditional old-fashioned market, store owners who set up their little shops every Sunday always expect to haggle over the price. From missangas and tribal masks to textiles, food and precious stones, everything for sale is negotiable. Friendliness and a good mood might get you a friendly price!

Every week, the finest Zambian craftspeople gather at this privileged trading area, where the variety of products and vibrant colours are truly an eyeful for visitors.

Visit this market, marvel at the skills of local master craftsmen — and take a little bit of Africa home with you.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The Sunday Market is set up every Sunday in front of the Lusaka Inter-City Bus Terminus, near the City Market.
