With the development of the Rock movement in Angola, Rock no Rio arised and promises two days that will make everyone move!
Each year some of the best Angolan artists and musicians from South Africa, Cuba and Cape Verde come together to perform at Rock no Rio.
The musical diversity combined with the public interaction make it one of the most desired festivals in Benguela.
Rock no Rio presents a wide range of musical styles, so the event can reach all kinds of people — from every age and musical taste.
During the festival you can count with good music, a pleasant atmosphere and good mood.

SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE

The event production is shared with Soba Catumbela and Cube Records that always keep the responsible and supportive spirit in mind.
One of the main purposes of the event is to promote the development of the local community. For that reason, they have developed new partnerships with representative associations such as ACPA or CRTAA.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The event will be held in Catumbela in October.
The event is free but you can buy tickets for the private area with open bar, that costs around KZ 3 000.
