If you are in Frankfurt and looking to spend some money on designer clothing, jewelry and other luxury items, Goethestraße is definitely the place to go - many major international luxury brands have stores here. The street was built in the late 19th Century and named after German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Widely regarded as the third busiest luxury shopping street in Germany, it is located in the district of Innenstadt and is near the city’s financial district (Bankenviertel).

Goethestrasse is a pedestrian street. You can get there by car or taxi. Alternatively, you may travel by commuter train and leave at Frankfurt (Main) Taunusanlage station.
